Step by step: the Claude app on your AgentBox desktop

The terminal is the agent's workplace, but not everyone wants to live in it. The Claude app on an AgentBox brings Anthropic's official application to the cloud desktop: regular chat and Claude Code in one window, signed in with your account, permanently open on a server that never shuts down.

Step 1: install the Claude app

On the AgentBox tab, under Apps, click Install on Claude app. The box installs it from Anthropic's official repository (the Linux version, in beta), and updates come from the source, along with the box's system updates.

Step 2: sign in

Open the app from the applications menu in the Desktop view and sign in with your Claude account, like on any computer. The session stays alive between uses. Your existing subscription covers this app too: you pay nothing beyond the server.

Step 3: chat with server context

The difference from Claude in your own browser: this instance lives on the box where the files, the projects and the agent's journal are. Drag a file from the Desktop into it, open a project in Claude Code from the same window and keep the conversation about code that is actually there. For many people it is the perfect bridge between chat and vibe coding in the terminal.

Step 4: two ways of working, one brain

In practice you end up using both: the terminal for long tasks, automations and anything that should run without you; the app for conversations, quick questions and visual work on files. The account is the same, so switching is natural: what you discussed in the app you continue in the terminal with claude, on the same files.

Step 5: from your phone too
