Step by step: Microsoft Teams on your AgentBox, with notifications and screen sharing
Updated 10/18/2026
If your company lives in Microsoft Teams, your cloud office has to be there too. The Teams app on an AgentBox brings Teams to the box's desktop in a normal window, with notifications and screen sharing, and that unlocks a very useful trick: in a meeting you can present the very screen your agent is working on.
Step 1: install Teams
On the AgentBox tab, under Apps, click Install on Microsoft Teams. The box gets the desktop app that wraps the official Teams web app, with system notifications and access to screen sharing. The install takes a minute or two.
Step 2: sign in
Open Teams from the applications menu in the Desktop view and sign in with your Microsoft account, exactly like on a regular computer. The session stays alive: the box never shuts down, so you do not sign in again on every use. If the agent needs you at the sign-in step, you get a takeover on your phone and type the password yourself, through the live desktop.
Step 3: chat and notifications
From here Teams works like anywhere else: channels, chat, files. The difference is that it runs on a server that never sleeps. Messages arrive while your laptop is closed, and when you open the console from your phone or another computer, everything is exactly where you left it. It is the same principle as in the guide on moving off the always-on PC.
Step 4: present the agent's work, live
This is where it gets interesting. Join the meeting from Teams on the AgentBox and share the box's screen: your colleagues watch in real time the document the agent is building, the app taking shape or the report being generated. You tell the agent in the terminal open the report on the desktop and carry on presenting, with no files shuffled around.
Step 5: split the roles
A combination that works well: before the weekly meeting, a scheduled task has the agent prepare the progress report on the Desktop. You join Teams from the AgentBox, share the screen and present what the agent prepared. The preparation did itself; you just lead the discussion.
What you end up with
- Teams permanently signed in, on a desktop that never shuts down.
- Screen sharing straight from the box where the agent works.
- Meetings prepared automatically by the agent, presented by you.
